Dennis Oppenheim, Digestion, Gypsum Gypsies, 1989.


When I first saw this picture,  I thought it was so beautiful. At first when I looked at it, I just saw the deer, and then I noticed the antlers. The antlers are flammed, they set up the art piece so that way you see the deer first, then if you look around you can see the gas cans and the connectors. I think the goal, or the main focus of this piece is the antlers. The artist found a way to make them glow, and pop out at you.
